Coming from a family of jewellery makers, musicians and artists, being half English and half Brazilian, Carolina Chew has a legacy of keeping tradition alive.
She works mainly with Sterlin Silver 95.0  and Stones (precious and semi-precious).
Carolina's work has a strong identity that can be seen by the way the pieces are uniquely handmade, hammered, soldered and set together. With time and experience she developed her own technique influenced by her English and Brazilian sides.
The strong hammering and soldering techniques influenced by the Celtic forges and hammerings and her Brazilian classical way of using stones by her great uncle Tolipan, a great jeweller in the 1940's.
Her pieces are produced in the most sustainable way possible using eco-based products, some pre-loved metals and local sellers.
